i’m happy you’re here
i work with open-minded artists who value growth and progress in their art careers
what drives me?
After working in public galleries and meeting FAR too many “starving artists”, I wondered,
why isn’t there more teaching support for artists who actually want to make a living?
I was able to combine my schooling in art history and psychology with my love for sales and marketing, and turn it into a career in the commercial art world that I absolutely adore.
you may be wondering “how did I get here?”
Following formal education in Art History & Social Psychology (University of Guelph) and Museum Curatorship (Fleming College), I joined Canada’s longest-running contemporary gallery in Toronto (2005) to work with dozens of professional artists of every career level. I left Bau-Xi Gallery as the Co-Director in 2017 to pursue direct artist consulting and mentorship.
I now focus my attention on individual artist consultations, providing artists with the assistance they need to succeed in the commercial art world. By coaching through studio and curatorial work, and advising on online presence and market trends, my guidance has helped hundreds of artists reach their goals.
In 2020, I founded the online exhibition space Artwrk.ca, which helped artists by providing an accessible e-commerce exhibition solution. ARTWRK established itself as Canada’s most dynamic online gallery, showing incredible, curated Canadian talent. In 2024, I sold the company to new owners who are continuing to manage the platform with the same founding values.
