1. Introduction
These terms and conditions (the "Terms") apply to the special offer provided by Alissa Sexton ("we," "us," or "our") for website design services to artists ("you" or "the client"). By participating in this offer, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Offer Details
2.1 Eligibility
This offer is open to new and existing clients who wish to engage our website design services for projects scheduled to be completed in January 2024 or beyond, expiring on December 31, 2024. This offer is not applicable to website projects currently in progress as of December 11, 2023.
2.2 Offer Period
The special pricing is valid until December 31, 2023.
2.3 Discounted Prices
Portfolio Website Design:
Original Price: $1400
Special Offer Price (if paid in full before Dec 31, 2023): $1100 (a discount of $300)
Basic E-Commerce Website Design:
Original Price: $1800
Special Offer Price (if paid in full before Dec 31, 2023): $1400 (a discount of $400)
3. Payment Terms
To take advantage of the special pricing, clients must make full payment by December 31, 2023, by purchasing the special sale listing via this website. If you would prefer to pay by e-transfer, contact alissa@alissasexton.com to make arrangements.
4. Project Timeline
Projects under this offer will be scheduled for completion in 2024. Specific timelines and milestones will be communicated to clients upon confirmation of their participation in the offer. If clients are ready to proceed, they can be rest assured the project will begin in January 2024. Any websites purchased for completion in 2024 must be finished by December 31, 2024. There will be no refunds given for projects not carried out by the client during this 1 year period.
5. Project Scope
The scope of work for each project will be defined in a separate agreement between Alissa Sexton and the client. Any additional features or services requested beyond the standard offerings may be subject to additional charges.
6. Cancellation Policy
Once payment is made, the client is committed to the project, and no refunds will be provided. In the event of exceptional circumstances, Alissa Sexton reserves the right to consider returns by way of service credits on a case-by-case basis.
7. General Terms
Alissa Sexton reserves the right to modify or terminate this offer at any time without notice.
These Terms are subject to change, and any updates will be communicated to clients.
By participating in this offer, clients agree to allow Alissa Sexton to showcase the completed project in our portfolio and marketing materials.

Artwork is shown in a clean, professional manner, with focus on simple design, letting artwork speak for itself.
Attention is paid to the client’s journey on the site, and it is built to create a path-to-purchase. There will be no e-commerce function on a portfolio site, but this can be upgraded to include e-commerce at any time.

1 30 minute discovery call
4 pages overall (Home, Portfolio, About, Contact). Additional pages cost $200+hst per page.

Following the design phase, the client will be given instruction on how to use the site, and will be responsible for updates after the design phase is complete. Your designer can always be hired in future for updates if needed.

An artist's website is one of their most important tools. A solid online presentation will help a professional artist sell their work, and look attractive to potential galleries.
A website for a professional artist has totally different goals and requirements then commercial product or retail websites. Presenting artwork so that it appeals to both galleries and buyers requires a specific set of skills, which I have built over time in my experience selling art and developing online strategies for galleries and artists.

Clients must have the ability to use a service such as Dropbox, iPhoto albums or we-transfer to send web-resolution images to the designer. If you identify as being ‘low’ on technical ability, you are best suited to the Portfolio site.
I would like to create a site for you that you can update yourself, so I will teach you what you need to know, and provide Squarespace tutorials to fill in the blanks.

My timeline varies. In most cases, I am able to send a site draft within 2 weeks of receiving all of the website content. I do not start a site until I have received all of the text and images, and the deposit has been paid.
If you are in a time crunch, please know I can have a complete site up and running within a week, but most site builds take about 3 weeks start* to finish.
*start = when you send me the content, not when you first contact me
